Lou Storiale is a certified USA Boxing trainer, dedicated martial artist and Indiana Kickboxing Champion with a 14-2 amateur record in kickboxing and boxing. Lou has been actively training and fighting in and around the Midwest since 1990, and now brings years of training and expertise from his instructors to Chicago Fight House.
Lou has been trained in boxing, kickboxing, Shorin Ryu Karate, Kenpo and Tae Kwon Do. He earned a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and competed in tournaments while still in high school, then trained three years in Shorin Ryu Karate. He began training under Karate Hall of Famer Sonny Johnson, trainer of world champion kickboxing heavyweight Joe Louis, at age 17, and also trained under renowned boxing trainer Jeff Hinds.
“I had the pleasure of working with Lou for several years in our boxing and kickboxing club in Muncie, Indiana. I’ve trained professional boxers, kickboxers and MMA champions. I’m a 9th-degree black belt and president of the Akari Ki Karate Kobudo Federation. These credentials give me the right to call Lou a great trainer, coach and fighter.”– Sonny Johnson, 9th Degree Black Belt
A quick look at the training and technique that define Chicago Fight House:
Lou doesn’t just coach fitness, he lives it. Strength training, conditioning and endurance are part of his own routine, and he brings that same standard to every student. He even coaches running, nutrition and strength when it serves a student’s goal: one client went from barely running to finishing a half-marathon under his guidance, and Lou has put in that same work himself.

Lou trains amateur and white-collar boxers at Independence Park in Chicago. Below, Lou stands with amateur fighter Oliver Stephens after winning his first boxing competition.
